How to Access Webmail on Hostking
Webmail lets you read and send email directly in your browser without needing Outlook or any other email client. It's useful when you're on another computer, your phone's email app isn't working, or you just want to quickly check your inbox.
How to Open Webmail
There are two ways to access webmail:
Option 1 — Direct URL
Open your browser and go to:
https://webmail.yourdomain.com
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name. Log in with your full email address and your email account password.
Option 2 — Through DirectAdmin
- Log into DirectAdmin
- Go to Email Manager → Email Accounts
- Click the webmail icon next to your email address
Which Webmail Client to Use
Hostking uses Roundcube as the default webmail client. It's clean, fast and works well on mobile and desktop browsers. When you log in you may be given a choice of webmail clients — Roundcube is the recommended option.

Most people use both — an email client as their main setup and webmail as a backup or when away from their usual device.
Common Problems
"Invalid username or password"
Your webmail password is the email account password set in DirectAdmin — not your Hostking portal password. Reset it in DirectAdmin under Email Accounts if needed.
Webmail loads but shows an error or blank screen
Try a different browser or clear your browser cache. If using Chrome try an incognito window.
"This site can't be reached" when going to mail.yourdomain.com
Your domain's DNS may still be propagating, or your nameservers may not be pointing to Hostking. Check with our support team if this persists after 24 hours.
