How to Upload Files to Your Website Using the DirectAdmin File Manager
The DirectAdmin File Manager lets you upload files directly to your hosting account from your browser — no FTP software needed.
Step-by-Step
Step 1 — Log into DirectAdmin via my.hostking.host → your service → Login to DirectAdmin.
Step 2 — Under System Info & Files, click File Manager.
Step 3 — In the File Manager, click Domains in the left panel.
Step 4 — Click the domain you want to manage.
Step 5 — Click the public_html folder. This is the folder where your website files live. Any files you upload here will be visible on your website.
Step 6 — Click the + (plus) icon in the left menu bar or look for an Upload button at the top of the file list.
Step 7 — Select the files from your computer that you want to upload. You can select multiple files at once.
Step 8 — Wait for the upload to complete. Once done the files will appear in the file list.
Uploading a Zip File
If you have many files to upload, zip them into a single .zip file first, upload the zip, then right-click it in File Manager and choose Extract to unzip everything at once. This is much faster than uploading files individually.

Uploading Large Files
