The cPanel E-mail Addresses page loads the list of E-mail users from two files in /home/[cpaneluser]/.cpanel/, email_accounts.cache, and email_accounts.yaml. If these files are missing, cPanel will automatically generate them from the users listed in /home/[cpaneluser]/etc/[domain.com]/passwd
/home/[cpaneluser]/.cpanel/email_accounts_count holds the number of e-mail accounts currently setup and is used to display the number of e-mail addresses on the account’s cPanel home page.
If these files are incorrect or removed, your account may not correctly load the cPanel users. Contact Support for more information on issues like this.
